Your day begins with Adelaide CBD transfer from selected hotels to the picturesque seaside town of Victor Harbor. This breathtaking 90-minute tour departs from the Granite Island Causeway and cruises between the mainland and the northern side of Granite Island, affording spectacular views of both the Victor Harbor shoreline and the island.

Many visitors to Victor Harbor never venture past Petrel Cove on the western side of The Bluff, but this is where passengers on The Big Duck are in for a real treat! Colonies of seals and sea lions can be found basking on the rocks and swimming in the shallows and pods of Common and Bottlenose dolphins can be spotted playing or feeding. The Big Duck heads past the darkly spectacular cliffs of Kings Beach and Waitpinga before returning to Granite Island Causeway.

During winter, Southern Right Whales and Humpback Whales migrate from Antarctic waters to the warmer ocean around Australia to feed, mate, and give birth. The Big Duck is a licensed whale watching vessel and it is a privilege to enter the Southern Right Whale breeding sanctuary of Encounter Bay and to view these majestic animals from the waterline.

The number of whales seen near Victor Harbor is highly variable year-to year. Southern Right Whales are much larger and less active (above the waterline) than Humpback Whales commonly seen on the East Coast of Australia. For this reason, whale sightings cannot be guaranteed. The tour&nbsp;also adheres to the minimum approach distance of 300 metres. Should whales not be in the area the cruise will revert to a wildlife tour.

At the conclusion of your cruise re-join your coach for transfer back to Adelaide.

	<li>The tour requires a minimum of 2 passengers per tour and 6 passengers per day to run tours. In the rare event that we have to cancel a day due to lack of numbers, passengers will be offered a rescheduled tour or full refund Minimum age on all tours is 2 years (due to Safety).&nbsp;</li>
	<li>The tour is suitable to run in most weather conditions, however, in extreme cases, we will either postpone the tour or offer a full refund.</li>
	<li>During whale watch season (June-September), where possible, the Southern Ocean AdventureTour will include whale watching.</li>
	<li>If there are no whales present the tour will endeavor to include other wildlife sightings, such as seals and dolphins. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. Marine Mammal watching regulations require a minimum distance of 300 metres from whales in the Encounter Marine Park.</li>
	<li>Participation entirely at own risk, with full indemnity to the tour.</li>
	<li>&nbsp;If you have booked an Adelaide pick up please be at your designated pickup location 10 minutes prior to the pickup time.</li>
