Wear comfortable clothes suitable for walking, &amp; bring a hat and sunscreen.&nbsp;

Discover the thriving art scene, stunning scenery, and fascinating history of the Redland Bay islands of Karragarra and Macleay on this full-day trip that includes a copper art workshop.

&nbsp;

After departing the mainland, the first stop is Karragarra Island. Take a walk along the scenic Esplanade to the island&#39;s beautiful community gardens to see and learn about great ideas on how to create an organic garden with edible flowers, a shed and a compost, a worm farm and more.&nbsp;

&nbsp;

Then, enjoy&nbsp;morning tea before a short walk to Robyn&#39;s pottery workshop and studio. After, the walk circles back to the jetty for the ferry transfer to&nbsp;Macleay Island.

&nbsp;

Once on&nbsp;Macleay Island, you will drive along the island following the heritage trail and visit local artists and craftspeople. Highlights include&nbsp;the historical relics of saltworks, a distillery and a lime kiln, and&nbsp;Tim O&#39;Shea Wetlands. This is&nbsp;a protected area with a permanent freshwater hole and a fascinating historical past.

&nbsp;

You&#39;ll also visit the&nbsp;Tingira Boat Club, the Art Gallery with pottery shed, and the Bowls Club, followed by a&nbsp;short scenic walk along the picturesque road from Dalpura Beach to Pat&#39;s&nbsp;Park at the tip of the island. Then, drive along the eastern side of the island, enjoying the spectacular views, stop at&nbsp;Corroboree Park and the waterhole, and cross the causeway to Perulpa Island.

&nbsp;

Having worked up an appetite, dig into a healthy and delicious lunch platter at a local home with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.&nbsp;

&nbsp;

The rest of the afternoon is then spent doing a copper art class.&nbsp;You will learn how to create a beautiful embossed copper leaf to take home with you as a memento of the day. After, return to the mainland via ferry.&nbsp;

<h4>The Contract</h4>

These booking conditions contain important information. It is essential that you carefully read and understand them. The booking conditions constitute a legally binding contract between you and us for the services provided by The Operator.

By booking with The Operator, you acknowledge that you have read and understood and that you agree to be bound by these booking conditions.

<h4>Bookings</h4>

All bookings must be paid for in full at the time of booking.

Changes to bookings: Tour times may be changed by you 2 days (48 hours) prior to the date of the tour. Please note: A $5.00/person rescheduling fee will be charged for all changes to bookings.

Occasionally, The Operator may have to make changes both before and after the bookings have been confirmed.

<h4>Cancellation By You</h4>

If you wish to cancel the bookings, notification or cancellation must be made to The Operator via telephone or email.

Cancellations will be accepted with a full refund 5 days or more prior to your tour day. You will be refunded 100% of the tour price. 
Cancellations within 5 to 2 days (48 hours) prior to your tour day, will be accepted with a 50% refund of the tour price.

Making departure time is your responsibility. No refund is made to any person unable to make tour departure times which are linked to ferry public departure times. Call The Operator to meet you on the islands for late arrivals.

Please note that The Operator is not responsible for payment fees of ferry public transport. You can pay with Go-card or cash for a ferry. Inter-island ferry movements are free of charge.

<h4>Cancellation By The Operator</h4>

The Operator reserves the right to cancel any service prior to departure. Sometimes The Operator must cancel a scheduled tour because of conditions beyond their control ( for example severe weather conditions, bushfires, illness ). Your safety is paramount, so if the tour is cancelled, The Operator will notify you of cancellation by telephone or email no later than&nbsp;7 am&nbsp;of the morning of the scheduled tour. If the tour is cancelled, The Operator will suggest an alternative tour date to suit you or will promptly refund your payment in full.

The Operator will not be responsible for any consequential losses arising from a cancellation.

<h4>Gift Vouchers</h4>

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months and are redeemable for any of the tours.

Gift vouchers are not refundable and, in any portion, redeemable for cash.

<h4>Release and Indemnity Form</h4>

Before participating at any of the tours, all participants must read and sign The Operator&rsquo;s form of Waiver and Release and Indemnity personally or by a guardian if the participant is under the age of 18.

<h4>Health and Fitness</h4>

It is your responsibility to inform The Operator before the start of the tour of any pre-existing medical condition and/or disability that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of your required medical attention, or that may affect the normal conduct of a tour and enjoyment of other tour members.

The Operator also reserves the right to cancel your participation in a trip at any time, including after the commencement of the trip, with no right to refund, if your medical condition and/or disability could be reasonably expected to affect the normal conduct of a tour and enjoyment of other tour members.

<h4>Code of Conduct</h4>

The tours are non-smoking, and alcohol is prohibited. Participants must show respect to each other and to the environment during any tour. The Operator reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct is deemed to pose a risk or nuisance and will not refund or cover any costs or expenses incurred for their removal.

<h4>Age Restrictions</h4>

The tour is suitable for children aged 10+. 
Children between the ages of 10 and 16 years must be accompanied by an adult (18+ years old).&nbsp; If no adult is present, the child will not be permitted to attend the tour.

<h4>Food and Beverages</h4>

You may bring your own food and/or beverages with you on the tour. The Operator will provide you with lunch, however, accept no liability for food, drinks and beverages consumed on the tour. When booking a tour, you will need to provide The Operator with information on having a vegetarian or a non-vegetarian option to accommodate your food restrictions.

<h4>Publicity</h4>

You may be asked to agree that The Operator may use images of you taken during the tour without recourse to you and without compensation to you, for publicity and promotion purposes only through whatever medium we choose.

<h4>Governing Law</h4>

This agreement will be governed by the Law of Queensland.

<h4>Personal Information</h4>

Personal information about visitors is collected only when knowingly and voluntarily submitted. For example, The Operator may need to collect such information to provide you with further services or to answer or forward any requests/enquiries.

The Operator is not responsible for the privacy practices of websites that are external to our sites.

The Operator will not otherwise disclose your personal information without your consent unless otherwise authorised by law in Australia.

<h4>Security</h4>

The Operator strives to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of personal information submitted to our sites. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be totally secure. However, The Operator will try to take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information you may transmit to us. Once The Operator does receive your transmission, they will also make the best efforts to ensure its security on their systems.
