Release your inner daredevil! Embark on a canyoning trip in the Cairns rainforest for&nbsp;a day full of abseiling, zip lining, sliding and jumping in pool and waterfalls. Head to the Crystal Cascades where you&#39;ll discover a wonderland of waterfall fun. You&#39;ll experience the&nbsp;excitement of canyoning in a rocky watercourse with&nbsp;guides to accompany you along the way.&nbsp; 
 
This canyoning deal is perfect for beginners or those&nbsp;who have tried canyoning before. You&#39;ll be challenged to push your own boundaries but with guides to assist you along the way, you&#39;ll be in safe hands. A maximum of 12 people per group with 2 adventure guides means you can be sure of plenty of one-on-one guidance. The guides will carry all the heavy gear required for canyoning - all you need to bring is your sense of adventure!&nbsp; 
 
All equipment is provided, including protective safety gear like a canyoning harness, shoes, helmet, neoprene shorts, long-sleeve thermal top for sun protection and a low-profile life jacket all padded to provide extra protection from the rocks. 
 
Photographs will be taken by your guides throughout the day. These are available for purchase after your tour.&nbsp; 
 
Itinerary

6:00 - 7:00 am 
Pick up&nbsp;from your Cairns /&nbsp;Northern Beaches accommodation. 
 
7:00 am 
Check in at Raging Thunder HQ and collect your canyoning equipment. 
 
7:30 am 
Arrive at Crystal Cascades where you&#39;ll meet the Self Drivers.&nbsp;Change into your canyoning gear and walk to the first platform. This is a good chance to&nbsp;familiarise yourself with the gear you&#39;ll be using. 
 
8:00&nbsp;- 11:00 am&nbsp; 
Start the adventure at the viewing platform of Devil&rsquo;s Drop in Crystal Cascades. A detailed safety talk will get you&nbsp;ready for your canyoning adventure! 
After a short walk up the track, it&#39;s time to start your first abseil for the day, an 11 metre controlled descent down&nbsp;granite rock beside your first waterfall. At the bottom, cool down&nbsp;in the slippery dip slide, which leads you to your next challenge. This is the&nbsp;biggest drop of the day - a 30 metre abseil down Big Cheese! 
Next, the adventure continues with 8 rappels (vertical drops), 3 jumps, 2 slides and a very cool zip line!&nbsp;

Along the way, make sure to check out the stunning Crystal Cascades scenery that surrounds you. You might be lucky enough to spot lizards, snakes, birds and other wildlife! Butterflies and dragonflies will also join you on your trip.&nbsp;

Arrive at Crystal Cascades car park, change into dry clothes and enjoy a light lunch before boarding the bus back to Cairns.&nbsp;
