Your day starts at 8:30am with an early morning &quot;Reef Hopper&quot; scenic flight over Cairns, Green Island and the Great Barrier Reef. Your flight will depart from Cairns airport, where you&#39;ll climb aboard our specially designed&nbsp;high-wing aircraft, with guaranteed window seats for everyone on board.

Take in&nbsp;spectacular views of turquoise waters, sandy shores, tropical islands, you may even spot a dolphin or two! Did you know that the Great Barrier Reef is the largest living thing on Earth and can be seen from outer space? You really need to see if from the air to truly appreciate it!

After your unforgettable flight, you will be picked up by our team as part of your complimentary bus transfer. We&#39;ll head out to the harbour for your&nbsp;Big Cat Cruise to Green Island aboard the &#39;Reef Rocket&#39;. Help yourself to the&nbsp;delicious buffet lunch and light refreshments&nbsp;onboard. Can you honestly think of a better spot for lunch? Plus, you get a free glass bottom boat coral viewing tour included in the trip. So have your cameras at the ready and keep your eyes peeled for all sorts of marine life! Fancy taking a dip? No worries, these guys have you covered with snorkel equipment hire so you can explore Green Island above and below the water.

Green Island is a 6000 year old coral cay located within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. The island&nbsp;itself is a national park&nbsp;and home to over 120 native plant species, colourful bird life and heaps of&nbsp;marine life to explore. It&rsquo;s the only coral cay on the Great Barrier Reef with a rainforest growing on it! Lucky for you, we have more activties on top of our inclusions for you to do on&nbsp;Green Island, enjoy a self-guided walk around the island or have a go at feeding tropical fish. Whatever you do, make sure you really explore every inch of the island.

After all of that exploring, we&#39;ll cruise back to the Cairns Reef Terminal, where your day on the Great Barrier Reef sadly comes to an end.&nbsp;Please note that a return transfer is an additional cost but can&nbsp;be booked with Big Cat on your day of travel if required.
