How do I get there?
Rainforestation Nature Park is located on the Kennedy Highway, at the top of the Kuranda Range, only a 5-minute drive from Kuranda Village and a 30-minute drive from Cairns.
Can I get there without a car?
Can I get there without a car?
You can catch the Kuranda Scenic Railway or Skyrail to Kuranda - this connects with our shuttle bus, which is available for an additional charge.
Trans North also runs a regular bus service from Cairns to Kuranda that stops at Rainforestation Nature Park.

Yes. Wheelchair (and pram) access is available in the top carpark

No. Most areas of the park are paved and undercover, although we would recommend bringing a hat for the army duck tour if it’s hot and sunny and sturdy footwear is recommended if you are doing the Pamagirri Rainforest Walkabout.
