Bring a small pack and leave your large pack at your Hostel if you are starting and finishing the tour in Alice Springs. 
 
If you are starting or finishing your tour&nbsp;in Ayers Rock (Uluru)&nbsp;you can store your luggage in our trailor during the tour.&nbsp; 
 
Shorts, T-shirts and good shoes during the day&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;a jumper for night time. Winter you can still wear shorts and a shirt during the day. However, you will need to bring warm clothes because it does get cold at night. Long pants, a good jumper, a beanie to keep your head warm and gloves are advisable. 
Regardless of the time of year that you are travelling you will need to bring a hat&nbsp;&amp;sunscreen. Other things to bring include a towel, bathers, sunglasses, torch and toiletries.

If returning to Alice Springs, keep your larger luggage in your accommodation in Alice Springs&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;just bring a small bag on tour.&nbsp;

Embark on an outback adventure that will see you camp under stars and visit Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon. Starting in Darwin, this trip takes you through the heart of the Territory. 
 
The Greyhound bus ticket from Darwin to Alice Springs is included in the tour cost. If you would like to break up the Greyhound Bus trip you can stop off at Katherine, Mataranka or Tennant Creek. The Greyhound ticket is valid for 30 days as a hop-on-hop-off pass. Please contact us for more information. 
 
 
Itinerary: 
 
Day 1 &amp; 2: Greyhound bus from Darwin to Alice Springs 
Depart from Darwin Bus Station at 11.40 am, which gives you time for a sleep in! Heading through the incredible Territory&nbsp;landscape, you&#39;ll arrive in Alice Springs the next day at 9.15 am. Wear comfortable&nbsp;clothes for the overnight journey. 
 
When you arrive into Alice Springs, you&#39;ll need to call into The Rock Tour Travel Shop&nbsp;to confirm your tour booking. You&#39;ll also get 30 minutes&nbsp;free Internet. Luckily, the Greyhound Bus Station in Alice Springs is just next door to The Rock Tour Office! Your accommodation for the night Alice&nbsp;Springs YHA (6 share dorm) is also close, located a 2-minute walk from the bus station.&nbsp;You&#39;ve&nbsp;got 1 nights accommodation here&nbsp;included in your tour.&nbsp; 
 
When you arrive in Alice Springs, you&#39;ve got a free day to check out the local attractions. Explore the town&#39;s quaint mall, head out to the Desert Park or maybe take a trip into the West MacDonnell Ranges! 
 
 
Day 3: Kings Canyon (lunch, dinner) 
You&#39;ll be picked up from the Alice Springs YHA&nbsp; nice and early at 5.30 am. Your first destination for the day is&nbsp;Kings&nbsp;Canyon. Enjoy a 3-hour hike through the&nbsp;sandstone domes of the&nbsp;Lost&nbsp;City&nbsp;and visit the&nbsp;Amphitheatre, North &amp; South Walls&nbsp;and the&nbsp;Garden of Eden. 
 
Next up, head to Curtin&nbsp;Springs for your first bush camp. Your guide will prepare a healthy&nbsp;camp-oven dinner. Yum! Later, relax around the fire before curling up in your cozy swag beneath a&nbsp;million stars. 
 
 
Day 4: Kata Tjuta &amp; Uluru Sunset (breakfast, lunch, dinner)&nbsp; 
Start the day with the sun as you wake up in our bush camp. 
 
Today, discover the spiritual significance of Kata Tjuta&nbsp;on the&nbsp;Valley of the Winds walk.&nbsp;Your guide will show you some bush tucker along the way. 
 
Then, it&#39;s time to head to&nbsp;the&nbsp;Aboriginal Cultural Centre&nbsp;where you&nbsp;can listen to tales from the&nbsp;Dreamtime. You&#39;ll then go on a guided Mala Walk and learn more about the Aboriginal culture. 
 
As night falls, spend the evening enjoying dinner as you watch&nbsp;the spectacular sunset over Uluru. Witness the awesome sight of Uluru changing colour as the sun sets. 
 
You&#39;ll spend tonight at the Ayers Rock Campground with toilets and showers. 
 
 
Day 5: Uluru Sunrise (breakfast, lunch) 
Start the morning with a memorable&nbsp;Uluru sunrise.&nbsp;Afterwards, you&#39;ll set off on the&nbsp;Uluru Base Walk. Take&nbsp;in Kantju Gorge,&nbsp;Mutijulu Waterhole&nbsp;and be amazed by&nbsp;Aboriginal&nbsp;Cave Paintings. 
 
Later, it&#39;s time to hit the road back to Alice Springs. Stop on the way for an optional Camel Ride!&nbsp;You will arrive back in&nbsp;Alice Springs at approximately 5.00 pm. 
 
Once back in civilisation, you&#39;ll have time to get cleaned up before meeting your guide and new friends for dinner and a couple of beers at&nbsp;The Rock Bar. (7:00pm, at your own expense). 
 
If you have a few days in Alice Springs before your flight home, ask your guide for some tips. They&#39;ll have some great ideas for things to see and do around the town.&nbsp;
