Frequently Asked Questions
What vehicle will we travel in?
What vehicle will we travel in?
All the tours are conducted in a unique Toyota Arkana; this 6-wheel, off-road beast of a vehicle is more than capable of tackling the terrain here in the Northern Territory. The vehicle seats 7 passengers (8 persons including the driver), offers comfortable suspension seating that is super spacious (plenty of legroom) and has a forward-facing seating arrangement. The vehicle is also air-conditioned for your comfort. With windows throughout and safari windows, this vehicle does not disappoint. Take in the incredible ever-changing scenery as we explore this wild, pristine part of Australia!
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
The Operator can cater to any and all dietary requirements. If you have any dietary requirements, it is your responsibility as the customer to inform them upon booking. This will allow them to ensure they have the correct meal available for you on the day!
What are the campsites like?
What are the campsites like?
The private camps are leased to The Operator for their sole use on each tour. These beautiful, secluded spaces are a rarity and a privilege. Everyone must be mindful to pay respect to the owners of the land by tidying up after ourselves, collecting all rubbish and leaving the camp the same way you found it after use.
These camps are all-inclusive of amenities such as a shower, toilet and kitchen space for food preparation. The setup of the swags is your responsibility each night before you retire but don’t worry; your guide will be more than happy to assist you with preparing your camp should you encounter any issues.
You will have the opportunity to walk around the properties, explore the rich, lush scenery, and, if you so choose, try your luck at spotting some of the iconic wildlife. There is not a person to be seen other than the other patrons on tour with you, which is one of the most remarkable aspects of these camps.
You will be able to have a campfire (weather permitting) and genuinely have an immersive experience in the great Australian Bush. In addition, the lack of light pollution (or any pollution, really) allows you to experience a night sky you will potentially be talking about for years to come.
