When hiring these vehicles, you need to select which security liability bond amount you would like to proceed with. This amount is also the Insurance Excess amount if any damages occur to the vehicle during your hire. The Operator's insurance does not include windscreen, underbody or tyre damage.

Security Liability Bonds are held and are refundable as per the Terms and Conditions and in AUD.

The 2 Security Liability Bonds/ Excess Reduction option amounts offered by The Operator for each vehicle type:

Mitsubishi Pajero

1. Standard Liability Bond of $5000 Five Thousand Dollars. or
2. Security Liability Reduction Bond of $500 Five Hundred Dollars, with a payment of $60 Sixty Dollars per day. Includes: one windscreen replacement, two tyre replacements, single vehicle accident coverage and vehicle retrieval and recovery costs up to $5,000.

Toyota Hilux

1. Standard Liability Bond of $5000 Five Thousand Dollars. or
2. Security Liability Reduction Bond of $500 Five Hundred Dollars, with a payment of $75 Seventy Five Dollars per day. Includes: one windscreen replacement, two tyre replacements, single vehicle accident coverage and vehicle retrieval and recovery costs up to $5,000.

The more remote you travel the fewer the fuel options – not to mention how expensive it can get in some remote regions. Water is available at most places, though its good to fill up if you were going very remote. Staying hydrated is very important in hot climatic conditions.

You will find groceries and eateries at all tourist spots, though be aware it may be costly in very remote areas. It’s advisable to stock up well where you can.
