Self-Driving: Rainbow Beach is approximately 3 hours by car north of Brisbane. 1.5 hours south of Hervey Bay and 2 hours north of Sunshine Coast. Meet your guide at 36 Rainbow Beach Road for a prompt departure.

Tour accommodation includes recently renovated standard hotel rooms with tea and coffee-making facilities, a balcony or a patio. These rooms also come with ceiling fans to increase airflow; however, if you would like an air-conditioned room, please request an upgrade at the time of check-in. The resort offers many facilities for guest use, but the best place to unwind at the end of a tour day is at McKenzie’s on 75 Bar & Restaurant. Delight in an evening at leisure and select a meal from the new à la carte menu.

The 4WD coaches have been specifically designed to navigate the sandy tracks and unique terrain found on K'gari. They are air-conditioned, have panoramic windows and are capable of carrying 40 passengers.

The tours generally depart rain, hail or shine, but in the event of extreme weather, tours can be cancelled. In this event, if you booked directly with us, refunds will be issued. If you booked through an agent, your refund will be determined by your booking agent.
