Itinerary 
Your tour starts bright and early, with 7.30am pick-up from your Hervey Bay accommodation. Hop on the ferry and enjoy the short cruise over to the beautiful Fraser Island. Make sure your cameras are at the ready! You&#39;ll fall in love as you capture your first glimpse of this tropical island paradise. 
 
Once you arrive,&nbsp;you&rsquo;ll meet our&nbsp;crew, hop into&nbsp;new landcruisers and hit the road. Fraser Island awaits! 
 
Built on volcanic bedrock, the island itself is approximately 750,000 years old. It&#39;s home to a&nbsp;diverse array of landscapes from tropical rainforest to sand dunes to freshwater lakes. A huge variety of wildlife, from swamp wallabies to echidnas, sugar gliders and flying foxes live here. There&#39;s also snakes, crocs and over 350,000 species of birds! 
 
Today you&#39;ll cram in all the&nbsp;highlights of this beautiful island. Enjoy driving along the spectacular white sands of 75 Mile Beach&nbsp;and take the in epic ocean views. The beach which also doubles up as a runway for some 4WD fun! There&#39;ll be plenty of&nbsp;off-roading&nbsp;to enjoy today.&nbsp; 
 
You&#39;ll journey from one side of the island to the other, and your knowledgeable&nbsp;tour guides lead the way, uncovering history, and taking you&nbsp;off the beaten track. 
 
Trek through the lush rainforest of Wanggoolba Creek, visit Central Station, explore the historic Maheno Shipwreck and experience the&nbsp;beautiful Pinnacles.&nbsp;You&#39;ll work up an appetite with all this exploring, so luckily morning tea is included today! 
 
Later, cool off with a&nbsp;swim in the&nbsp;turquoise waters of Lake McKenzie and Eli Creek.&nbsp;&nbsp;

A delicious lunch with bubbles and beer is also included today. After eating, you&#39;ll continue the adventure up to&nbsp;&nbsp;Indian Head, which was named&nbsp;by Captain Cook when he first discovered Fraser Island in 1770. There&#39;ll be time for a&nbsp;stop at the stunning Champagne Pools&nbsp;too, where you can enjoy a relaxing dip in a natural Jacuzzi! 
 
Then, after a truly unforgettable day, it&#39;s time to wave goodbye to the island. Take&nbsp;the ferry across to the mainland and head back to Hervey Bay, snapping a few last sunset shots as you go. Keep your eyes out for any dolphins and whales too - these guys often come out to play at sunset!&nbsp;

Guidés par alex nous avons passé une journée tres agréable sur l&#x27;île. Le timing excellent nous a permis de découvrir les différents sites. Un regret quand même mais non lié à l&#x27;organisation de notre journée, le nombre de 4*4 presents sur l&#x27;île. Attention aux locuteurs français, anglais obligatoire mais ne vous inquietez pas l&#x27;equipe est tres bienveillante !
