If MONA isn&rsquo;t your preference, we also offer a shuttle service from Mount Field back to Hobart, excluding the MONA visit.

Begin your journey with a scenic drive through the picturesque Derwent Valley before arriving at Mount Field National Park. Here, you&rsquo;ll witness remarkable landscapes and step into a section of Tasmania&rsquo;s World Heritage Area. As one of Australia&rsquo;s oldest and most diverse national parks, featuring some of the tallest flowering trees in the world, Mount Field is home to an array of natural wonders, abundant wildlife, and rich ecological diversity, making it an essential stop when visiting Tasmania.

Enjoy a rainforest walk as you admire the towering trees on your way to the iconic Russell Falls and Horseshoe Falls, where cascading waterfalls await. Along the route, keep an eye out for native wildlife like wallabies, echidnas, platypuses, and various rare bird species that call this unique environment home.

In the afternoon, you&rsquo;ll have the opportunity to explore local produce and enjoy tastings, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Visit Westerway Raspberry Farm (available November to June) to hand-pick fresh berries, or head to the historic Salmon Ponds, the birthplace of trout in Australia, renowned for its delicious pancakes. Alternatively, you can enjoy a tasting and grab a bite to eat at the family-owned Plenty Cider or the New Norfolk Rum Distillery. From heritage buildings to lush gardens and unique tastings, there&rsquo;s something for everyone.

Enjoy some free time at MONA, one of the world&rsquo;s most unique museums, where you can browse eclectic art exhibits described by owner David Walsh as a &ldquo;subversive adult Disneyland.&rdquo; If art isn&rsquo;t your thing, MONA also features a local winery and craft brewery on-site.

For those on the shuttle service, we&rsquo;ll head back to Hobart and drop you off at your chosen location. For those exploring MONA, you can either book a scenic ferry ride on the Mona Roma back to Hobart or wait for our friendly guide to collect you for a comfortable return journey.

Option 1 (Adult price option):

Enjoy the day tour and get dropped off at the MONA musem at around 3:00pm. Here you have the choice to catch the shuttle back to Hobart at 5:00pm or choose to catch the ferry back to Hobart at your own cost. The entrance to MONA is not included.

Option 2 (No MONA price option):

Enjoy the day tour and be back at 3:30pm at your shuttle pick up/drop off spot.&nbsp;
