Full of history and amazing whisky,&nbsp;Dysart&nbsp;House has been home to the&nbsp;Old Kempton Distillery since November 2015. Onsite they make a variety of spirits including single malt whisky, gin, liqueurs and special releases, all produced using 100% Tasmanian ingredients.&nbsp;Learn the stories of Dysart House, tour the fully functioning distillery and get a unique guided tasting of their products.

Your fully guided tour starts with a brief wander through the beautiful Georgian-style Dysart House, which includes a short history of the iconic building and an outline of the distillation process. You will then get the opportunity to go behind the scenes, allowing you a visit through the distillery and bond store.&nbsp;

The old bond store is full of maturing Whisky and barrels of all different shapes and sizes. Ghost stories are all a part of the history of the house so keep your eyes peeled. Each tour is unique and an amazing opportunity to see how a distillery runs on a day-to-day basis.

Following your tour, take a seat in the stunning Cask Lounge, located in the grand coaching inn that is the Old Kempton cellar door. Here you will enjoy a guided tasting of a variety of four premium spirits.

Finish your afternoon with a browse in the cellar door, full of Old Kempton Distillery products, locally-made produce, and souvenirs of your visit to Dysart House.&nbsp;Lunch is available daily at the beautiful onsite cafe using fresh Tasmanian ingredients and comes highly recommended.&nbsp;
