You will need a level of fitness and mobility to enjoy these walks and to enjoy your day out with us.&nbsp;Your walk&nbsp;will be fully guided by expert Tour Guides on clearly marked and well-graded tracks with an interpretation emphasis on the natural environment and your surroundings.

Set off from Hobart and make your way south, through the Huon Valley, the apple-growing epicentre of Tasmania, towards the tall, green southern forests.

The first stop is&nbsp;at Tahune Adventures that offer a great range of short walks. The most exhilarating is the Airwalk; a gravity-defying path through the treetops that offers a spectacular view over the entire forest.

&nbsp;

The tour continues with a longer walk (45 mins) to experience the Swinging Bridges. With a 50m span across the river, this thrilling experience and is perfect for&nbsp;photos. For a more tame experience, there is the easy 20 minute Huon Pine Walk where unique, local trees grow alongside the river &mdash; some are 2000 years old! It&#39;s a delightful and enchanting short walk.

 
 
The tour continues south to the Hastings Cave Reserve.&nbsp;This is a quiet, remote, and spectacular area where you&#39;ll enjoy a variety of activities and&nbsp;a unique atmosphere.&nbsp;Bring your swimming gear and jump into the Thermal Springs swimming pool where the water is always 28 degrees. This spring is fed by the naturally heated waters of the thermal springs nearby. You also have the option to&nbsp;relax in the beautiful forest surroundings.&nbsp;Wander along the Hot Springs Nature Trail where the warm water meets the cool water &mdash; it&#39;s also&nbsp;home to the playful platypus. Keep your eye out for this elusive local!

 
 
The tour heads underground to explore the spectacular cave, which is Australia&rsquo;s largest tourist dolomite cave. You&#39;ll join the underground tour expertly conducted by the National Parks and&nbsp;Wildlife guides.&nbsp;The cave temperature is always 9 degrees so bring something warm!&nbsp;&nbsp;

 
 
The return drive to Hobart provides the opportunity to make short stops along the way. The tour will stop at roadside stalls so you can shop for&nbsp;delicious local produce such as cherries, berries, apples, ice cream,&nbsp;and honey.&nbsp; Fruit and&nbsp;produce stops are seasonal and may also vary due to the changeable operating hours of the various operators.

 
 
The tour returns to your Hobart City accommodation around 5.30pm.

This tour is active and visits National Parks and wild areas that involve some walking. They focus&nbsp;on the great short walks of Tasmania.&nbsp;Although most of the walks are classified as easy, a suitable level of general health and&nbsp;fitness and physical abilities is essential.&nbsp;All tour participants will be participating in outdoor, active activities and therefore subject to the outdoor weather conditions of the day.

 
 
The tour educates all our guests on Minimal Impact Bushwalking and the Leave No Trace policy&rsquo;s before entering our National Parks. They provide accurate interpretation and keep wildlife disturbance to a minimum by viewing from appropriate distances and informing our guests how to view wildlife with patience and respect. Activities are always confined to tracks and boardwalks to minimise negative impacts.
