Meet the friendly colony of rare Australian Sea Lions sheltered in their natural habitat just off-shore at Essex Rocks and Sandland Islands&nbsp;in the Jurien Bay Marine Park. This is the only Jurien Bay tour to include a qualified guide in the water with you to share expert insights into Sea Lion behaviour, ensuring a quality, sustainable, interactive marine experience.&nbsp;

Start with a 20-minute boat ride to Essex Rocks before jumping in to explore the Marine Park&#39;s shallow and beginner-friendly clear waters.

&nbsp;

You&#39;ll have up to 45 mins&nbsp;in the water, where you see and swim with the sea lions. Playful and curious, these majestic marine mammals frolic safely in the sheltered coves and willingly interact with snorkelers in the water. Also, keep an eye out for other underwater life, including fish and starfish.

&nbsp;

The crew are all committed to the safety of the Sea Lion colony and guests. There will be guides in the water and on kayaks to assist you with interacting with the sea lions to have the most engaging yet respectful interaction possible while enjoying the joy of seeing wildlife thrive in their natural habitat.

Once the adventure is over, you&#39;ll reboard the boat to have a hot shower, dry off, and enjoy tea or coffee and a famous Aussie snack &ndash; the Tim Tam! On the way back to the marina you can ride the bow of the boat and watch for dolphins!

This tour is guided every step of the way, and all equipment is provided, including wetsuits, masks, snorkels, and floatation devices for anyone who is not a strong swimmer.
