No. However you will need some good sneakers and are welcome to wear hiking boots if you have them. Good shoes will make the experience a lot more enjoyable. We also recommend bringing a windbreaker or light rain jacket in summer, and a warm waterproof jacket in the winter.

Please try to bring only what you need. A small backpack and a water bottle should be suitable. We will bring snacks, fruit, coffee and tea for the road.

After arriving at Wilsons Prom, embark on your first hike for the day which takes you through beautiful terrain and emerges to the vastness of &#39;The Big Drift&#39; - Wilsons Promontory sand dunes.

Here, you&#39;ll experience views that you would never have known possible - so get the camera ready!

Then, it&#39;s time to take a small drive to the general store for some lunch and to refuel, with a second hike of the day, a 7.8km return journey to the famous Mt Oberon, scheduled for the afternoon. From the summit, you will experience arguably the best coastal views in Victoria.

Your next stop for the day is one of the operator&#39;s favourites, Squeaky Beach. Here you can wander on the incredibly white rounded grains of quartz which make a squeaking sound - giving this popular local beach its name.

&nbsp;

Throughout the day, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife including wombats, emus, kangaroos. and wallabies who make this experience all the more magical!
