Let your guide&nbsp;show you some of Victoria&#39;s best-hidden&nbsp;secrets. Starting early, depart&nbsp;Melbourne at 7:30 am, travel north directly to Mt Macedon to enjoy the wonderful views and the magnificent memorial cross.

After enjoying Mt Macedon, you&#39;ll head down the mountain to the iconic Hanging Rock. It&#39;s most famous as the subject of the&nbsp;Australian historical fiction novel by Joan Lindsay, Picnic at Hanging Rock.&nbsp;Set in 1900, it is about a group of female students at an Australian girls&#39; boarding school who vanish at Hanging Rock while on a Valentine&#39;s Day picnic and the effects the disappearances have on the school and the local community. Whether it&#39;s based on true events or not remains a mystery.&nbsp;For the energetic travellers, you will get the chance to climb to the top, so pack comfortable walking shoes and water.&nbsp;

Then, stop in at&nbsp;Trentham Falls, which with a 32-metre drop, is one of the longest&nbsp;single drop waterfalls in Victoria. It&#39;s an easy walk from the carpark to view&nbsp;this incredible scene.&nbsp;

Next, it&#39;s&nbsp;onto Daylesford, with the first stop at the local convent gallery. Afterwards,&nbsp;you&#39;ll have free time to explore the village and purchase some lunch (own cost). There are many excellent&nbsp;shops, restaurants and galleries in Daylesford.

&nbsp;

After lunch, you&#39;ll head to Lavandula Swiss Italian Farm (subject to opening &ndash;&nbsp;they only open on selected days). Here you will find all different varieties of lavender products and have the chance to explore the&nbsp;property taking in all the different lavender grown onsite. Say hello to the farm animals, too, including Mirella the Highland cow, two emus, heaps of chickens, plus sheep and alpacas.&nbsp;

&nbsp;

The final stop of the day is the beautiful Daylesford lake. Stretch your legs, and enjoy the stunning views before heading back to the city, arriving at approximately 5:00 pm.&nbsp;
