Yes, this tour is designed for open water certified divers. If you haven&#39;t dived in the last two years, a refresher course is available.

Absolutely! If you prefer to use your own gear, you are welcome to bring it. The crew will help you set up once on board.

It&#39;s advisable to take seasickness tablets before departure. The crew is experienced in assisting with seasickness and equalization issues, though they cannot guarantee relief.

Starting early from Sunreef at The Wharf, Mooloolaba, your day-long adventure begins with a detailed briefing before heading out to the reef.

The journey to Flinders Reef takes about 45 minutes, after which you&#39;ll dive into two distinct sites.

Each dive lasts up to 60 minutes, with a surface interval that includes lunch and refreshments.

Underwater, you&#39;ll explore diverse landscapes&mdash;from coral walls to underwater pinnacles, all bustling with marine life.

The trip concludes back at the dive shop, where you can relax and share your experiences with fellow divers​

<h4>The reef:</h4>

Flinders Reef is located just north of Moreton Island, and is part of the Moreton Bay Marine Park, making it a fully protected marine sanctuary.&nbsp;

The reef was aptly named after Matthew Flinders, the explorer who led the first team to circumnavigate Australia, as many divers and snorkelers explore this reef today.&nbsp;

There are plenty of walls, gutters, caves and pinnacles to discover, all covered in dense coral, sponges, and plant life. There are plenty of brain, plate, and staghorn corals, along with many different soft corals, gorgonians, and anemones.&nbsp;

What makes Flinders Reef even more special is that it is a&nbsp;turtle cleaning station, making it very likely that you will see green,&nbsp;hawksbill, and/or loggerhead turtles. There are also many tropical and temperate fish (over 200 species) on this&nbsp;coral reef, with many blue tangs, clown triggerfish, yellow clownfish, and porcupine pufferfish, just to name a few.&nbsp;

In the warmer months, different fish frequent the reef, such as eagle rays and leopard sharks, whereas winter brings in grey nurse sharks and humpback whales!

	<li>Please note you will be required to fill out a Divers Statement after booking. This is to be filled out&nbsp;one&nbsp;time only. If you answer &quot;yes&quot; to taking medication (other than contraception and malaria medication), or having an injury or illness that may affect your ability to dive, you will need a doctor&#39;s clearance before diving with us. If you&nbsp;are pregnant/trying to become pregnant, you cannot dive.</li>
	<li>Please note if you have not dived in the last 2 years you will be required to complete a Scuba Review/Refresher course before you can participate in any diving activities</li>
	<li>PLEASE NOTE ALL DIVERS MUST DIVE WITH:&nbsp;A dive computer (one per diver) (Computer hire $20) - Snorkel (Available for purchase or hire) - Whistle (Available for purchase only) - SMB (Available for purchase only).</li>
	<li>It is highly recommended that all divers wear gloves to avoid any cuts and abrasions. Gloves are available for purchase in the shop and for hire.&nbsp;(Glove hire $10)&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Children under 8 are not permitted on board</li>
	<li>If the dive is cancelled due to poor weather, then all monies will be refunded or transferred to another day.</li>
	<li>This tour requires a minimum number of divers to go ahead, if we do not reach this minimum the trip will be cancelled, all monies will be refunded in this case or you can transfer to another day.</li>
	<li>This is also in open water and we suggest that you look into&nbsp;seasickness medication to minimize the chance of it impacting your trip</li>
