Frequently Asked Questions

What to bring?

Please bring a hat, swimwear, sunglasses, a camera, comfortable clothes suitable for the activities and weather (including warmer clothes and rainjacket), closed shoes comfortable for bushwalking, sandals/flips flops/jandals/thongs), a day backpack (for the hike if you want to carry anything), and a change of clothes for the trip back.

This adventure includes multiple activities so a moderate level of fitness is advised. Hiking and Stand Up Paddleboarding are done at a leisurely pace. While Stand Up Paddleboarding experience is not necessary, you do need to be able to swim for this tour. You must be 16 years old or over to participate in this adventure (under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). If you are unsure if this adventure is suitable for you, please contact us to discuss.

Your safety is of utmost importance to us and we also want you to enjoy your adventure experience with us. We will check the weather forecast the night before your adventure and if the forecast is not favourable for a safe and/or enjoyable experience we will contact you. If we do need to cancel, you will be given the option of a full refund or to reschedule to another day and/or adventure.

Yes, but you do need to be able to swim! Our adventures are suitable for beginners to experienced paddlers. We provide the very best stable inflatable SUPs and experienced guides to ensure your safety and enjoyment. Our guides will also give you a short lesson on standup paddling techniques at the beginning of your adventure.

It depends on your balance! Our aim is to give you techniques when standup paddle boarding so you don’t get wet but part of the practice is falling off so be prepared. We’ll provide the life jackets to help keep you warm and afloat but please bring your own swimwear!

You may also get wet if it is very windy or raining. We recommend you bring a change of clothes to change into after the adventure.
