The tour starts outside Paddy's Markets, directly across from the southern end of Dixon St mall. If you're looking across the light rail tracks and you can see Emperor's Garden restaurant (not Emperor's Garden BBQ!), Covent Garden hotel and the Chinatown red gates, you're in the right spot.

For nearby parking, you can park at the Wilson Parking lot in Market City.

For public transport, it is just 10 minute's walk from Central train station. You can also get a bus to the nearby Railway Square.

We run tours, rain or shine. If it’s looking a bit rainy, bring your umbrella, grab your poncho, and get ready to have fun. We will never let a little rain stop us.

The tour is appropriate for children, depending on their age. It is shorter in distance and duration than other tours (approximately 1km of walking over 2-2.5 hours), but given the content of the stories focusing on Australian-Chinese history, we would recommend it for children aged 8 and above.
