If you are just bringing it for photos, the tour brings a go pro. All of the&nbsp;photos are posted on the tour&#39;s&nbsp;Facebook page for free download. If you&rsquo;d still like to bring your mobile phone, it&#39;s recommended that you secure it in a dry bag and lanyard.

You bet!&nbsp;&nbsp;The tour can take children 8 years old and upwards. All children aged 13 and under must be accompanied by a supervising adult at a maximum ratio of 1 adult to 3 children.

The tour meets at Point Piper Kayaks on Rose Bay Beach. Please arrive 15 mins prior to your scheduled tour start time.

The tour departs from Point Piper Kayak Centre, a hidden gem that unlocks the door to Sydney Harbour. The tour will guide you along some of the most expensive waterfront real estate in the world before reaching Nielsens Park. From this vantage point, you&#39;ll have a beautiful view of the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge.

This kayaking experience is a gentle exercise that gives you access to one of the most beautiful parts of the world. Don&#39;t worry &mdash; you&#39;ll have plenty of time for pictures! The tour will disembark for a photo op on Shark Island!&nbsp;

You don&#39;t need any prior experience with kayaking. The guides are fully qualified professionals who will conduct a lesson before you pick up a paddle and strike the water. The kayaks are super stable double seaters with all safety equipment provided. There is a secure place to lock your belongings.&nbsp;

By undertaking this activity you are agreeing that you are physically fit and of good health and able to cope with such demands of a guided sea kayak tour.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

You will be on the water for a considerable amount of time.

Children under 5yrs old may be too young to cope with such tours.

Children (ages 5-15 years) must be accompanied by an Adult (16 years or older).

Women more than 15 weeks pregnant should consider the safety risks prior to booking such tours, we advise against kayaking after this stage of pregnancy.

Sea sickness can occur. We suggest if you are prone to sea sickness please take measures such as patches or medication prior to your tour. No refunds can be given if you become sea sick on the tour.

Please restrict your alcohol intake on the evening prior to your tour. Excessive alcohol consumption can cause sea sickness.

You will be kayaking on the ocean, heavy clothing is not suggested to be worn.

A full safety briefing and kayaking &ldquo;basics&rdquo; lesson is provided on the beach prior to your tour by our guides.

AMENDMENTS &amp; CANCELLATIONS

Amendments to bookings can be made provided you give us at least 24 hours notice.

100% refund given if you cancel your booking more than 24 hours prior to your booked tour&rsquo;s commencement.

No refunds given for amendment or cancellation requests you make within 24 hours of your tour&rsquo;s commencement, and no refunds given for &ldquo;No Shows&rdquo;, but rescheduling can be arranged for a $25 per person fee.

You must send all amendment and cancellation requests in writing to us at&nbsp;<a href="mailto:info@goseakayak.com.au">info@goseakayak.com.au</a>&nbsp;at least 24 hours prior to your booked tour&rsquo;s commencement.

WEATHER

We can run this tour in the rain.

Unsafe wind and swell are what may force a cancellation or postponement of your tour. In this case we will contact you and reschedule or refund you according to what you prefer. Please keep your nominated mobile contact phone switched on the morning of your tour in case we need to contact you.

CANCELLATIONS FOR UNSAFE WEATHER CONDITIONS

For bookings made directly with us, a 100% refund will be given if we have to cancel your tour due to unsafe weather conditions.

Please note that if you have booked through a third party or travel agent then your booking may be subject to administration or other fees.

We will contact you if the weather forces us to cancel/postpone your tour. Please keep your nominated mobile contact phone switched on the morning of your tour in case we need to contact you.

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS

Daylight Savings Time runs in New South Wales (NSW) from October to April each year. During this time Byron Bay is is one (1) hour ahead of Queensland (QLD). If you are coming from QLD during this time please make the necessary adjustments to your schedule. For example 9:30am in Byron Bay is 8:30am in Surfers Paradise between October and April. No refunds can be given for tours missed due to time differences as per our Refund Policy above.

DRIVING &amp; PARKING in BYRON

If using own transport to get to tour please aim at arriving 20 minutes before the scheduled tour start.

There is paid parking on the roadside at our location &ndash; 56 Lawson Street Byron Bay.

Please be aware that Byron Bay is a little town with BIG traffic problems, if you are within 1.5km of us you will walk a lot quicker to us then the time it takes for us to pick you up and drive to our location.

WHAT TO BRING

Please bring: bathers, towel, sunscreen, small reusable water bottle, hat and clothes to change in to afterwards.

If you suffer from sea-sickness or motion sickness, please take measures such as patches or medication prior to arriving for your tour.

We have a lock up area for all bags/belongings.

EQUIPMENT

All safety and kayaking gear is provided.

In cooler months we supply wetsuits to keep you warm.

We have a secure lock up area for your belongings whilst you are out on tour.

PLEASE RESPECT THE LAND

The Cape Byron Marine Park is a culturally significant area to our local indigenous people, the &ldquo;Arakwal&rdquo; people, we ask that you respect this area by not contributing to littering, damaging/disturbing local flora and fauna.

We ask that you join us in sustainable methods of interacting with Mother Nature and not interfere with the habitat of this spectacular area.
