All booking amendments must be emailed to info@emurun.com.au The following applies to changes to tour type or departure date of an existing booking:

Included in the cost of the package is an Ensuite Room at Wayside Inn, Curtin Springs.

Emu Run will provide all meals and snacks on the first day, including a BBQ dinner with sparkling wine. AAT Kings will provide a cooked breakfast at Kings Creek Station on the second day of the tour, but all other meals this day are at your own expense. AAT Kings will stop at Kings Canyon Resort where you can purchase lunch.

Travel voucher, water bottle (2 x 1.5 litre), strong non-slip walking shoes, hat (wide brimmed is best), flynet, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, casual and comfortable clothing (cool, light clothing is best in summer and warm clothing for winter), travel pillow, cash for purchasing dot painting directly from artists at sunset, USB chargers (there are USB ports on the luxury coach).

We have a maximum of 52 people on the tour bus. You will travel in a luxury air conditioned coach.

The perfect way to soak up the outback in comfort and style... explore Uluru, Kings Canyon and Kata Tjuta in two days, and stay overnight at&nbsp;Wayside Inn, Curtin Springs. 
 
Itinerary: 
 
Day 1: Alice Springs to Uluru (Operated by Emu Run) 
Your guides will collect you from your Yulara accommodation at approximately&nbsp;11.45am. They&#39;ll give you a freshly made packed lunch&nbsp;to eat on the bus&nbsp;as you drive to the World Heritage listed Uluru-Kata Tjuta National&nbsp;Park. 
 
Travel to Kata Tjuta (Olgas) for the&nbsp;first walk of the day into Walpa Gorge. Embrace the domes of Kata Tjuta on your&nbsp;first walk of the day, while taking in the views of the open plains on the&nbsp;return walk. 
 
Then, visit the Aboriginal Cultural&nbsp;Centre where you will have time to learn about the local Pitjantjatjara people&nbsp;and buy some souvenirs. The Cultural Centre was built with 90,000 mud bricks&nbsp;with the help of the local Anangu people. It is built on a sacred site and has&nbsp;very special meaning to the local Anangu people. 
 
Afterwards,&nbsp;head to the base of Uluru&nbsp;(Ayers Rock), which is next to the entrance to the Uluru climb. From here one&nbsp;of the two guides will take you on a guided Mala Walk. The Mala Walk follows&nbsp;the north-west side of Uluru, where there are many fine examples of Anangu rock art. Be wowed by the sheer vertical walls as your guide&nbsp;tells you&nbsp;Dreamtime stories of the Anangu People. 
 
Next, you&#39;ll drive from the front of Uluru around&nbsp;to the Kuniya car park, which is at the back of Uluru. From here, start your&nbsp;second Uluru guided walk to the Mutitjulu Waterhole. The guide will take you&nbsp;along a short track to the Mutitjulu Waterhole &ndash; home of an ancestral water&nbsp;snake called Wanampi. The guide will share stories of local traditions and&nbsp;explain how the Anangu people traditionally used the waterhole for hunting. The caves containing rock art were used in the past by Anangu still alive today. 
 
Then, as darkness falls, it&#39;s time for the highlight of the day. The breathtaking Uluru sunset with a glass of bubbly and a&nbsp;delicious Aussie BBQ! Watch the light show over The Rock as you enjoy a tasty meal.&nbsp; 
 
After the sunset BBQ, you&#39;ll be dropped off at Curtin Springs Station where you will spend the evening in an Ensuite Room at Wayside Inn. 
 
Day 2: Curtain Springs to Kings Canyon (operated by AAT Kings) 
 
Your transport will pick you up from Curtin Springs Station at approximately 5.00 am (Oct-Mar) or 5.30am (Apr-Sep). Then, it&#39;s time for the drive to Kings Creek Station! 
 
As you go, you&rsquo;ll get a sense of the remoteness of outback Australia. Travel to Kings Creek Station and watch as the local wildlife wakes for the day. You&#39;ll see dromedary camels, kangaroos, Brumbies and dingoes. 
 
Once you arrive at Kings Creek Station there&#39;s time to stretch your legs and explore.&nbsp;Then, relax in the caf&eacute; where you&rsquo;ll be treated to a cooked&nbsp;breakfast. Their coffee is said to be the best in the Territory! 
 
After filling your belly, it&#39;s onto nearby Kings Canyon. Located in the heart of Watarrka&nbsp;National Park, Kings Canyon lies in an ancient Australian landscape that is&nbsp;sacred ground for the Ulpanyali and Lilla people. 
 
First up today, you&#39;ll be embarking on the six kilometre Rim Walk which really is a once in&nbsp;a lifetime experience. Climb up a 100-metre cliff face and walk around the rim&nbsp;of the canyon. Marvel at impressive views of sandstone walls, grottos, chasms&nbsp;and cliffs. 
 
Your next stop, deep down between sandstone cliffs, is&nbsp;the Garden of Eden &ndash; a true oasis. Here is a natural spring waterhole&nbsp;surrounded by local and exotic plants and trees such as gums, bonsai looking&nbsp;trees and enormous prehistoric ferns, creating a truly unique landscape. 
 
If you&#39;re after a walk that&#39;s a little more relaxing, the Creek Bed Walk is ideal. After leisurely taking in the sights,&nbsp;set off on a two-kilometre stroll along the creek bed that leads to views of&nbsp;the impressive canyon rim. 
 
After exploring the views and cliffs, it&#39;s off to Kings Canyon Resort &ndash;&nbsp;an oasis in the outback! Treat yourself to lunch (own expense). To see Kings&nbsp;Canyon from above, take an optional scenic helicopter flight (creek bed walkers&nbsp;only), or bring your swimmers if you&rsquo;d like to take a dip in the resort&rsquo;s pool. 
 
After cooling off, it&#39;s back on the road where you&#39;ll enjoy some amazing outback scenery as you head back to The Rock. You&#39;ll arrive back at around&nbsp;5.30pm.&nbsp;

SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS &amp; FOOD ALLERGIES We provide healthy, quality meals on our tours. We are able to cater for one of the following special dietary requests upon request: vegetarian, gluten free or dairy free. If you have a food allergy (eg peanuts) please advise at the time of booking and carry any necessary medication with you on tour.

AGE &amp; FITNESS LEVEL REQUIREMENTS For our camping tours the minimum age is 8 and for all other tours a minimum age of 2 applies. All travellers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for their care. Any packages that include dorm accommodation are not available for children, however we can create a suitable package for families upon request. We have no upper age limit on our tours, although some trips can be physically demanding. For our camping tours, a real spirit of adventure and a medium level of fitness is required as the tours are fast paced. It is important to note that Central Australia experiences extreme weather conditions during summer. Participation is required from passengers on our camping tours for things such as meal preparation and firewood collection (as requested by guide). TRAVEL INSURANCE Emu Run recommends that all travellers take out travel insurance to protect you from costs of illness, injury and cancellation fees.

AUTHORITY ON TOUR Each of our tours is run by a tour guide who will be in charge of making decisions relating to the safety and well-being of the group. Any passengers who do not comply with the tour guides decisions or act in a manner where they may interfere with the safety or well-being of others in the group may be asked to leave the tour. No refund will be given under these circumstances.

ACCEPTANCE OF RISK While on tour you will be visiting places where the dangers and challenges will be greater than those present in daily lives. There may be a higher degree of personal risk due to participation on the tour. You acknowledge and accept that your decision to travel on our tour is made in light of consideration of this and you are aware of the personal risks involved.

COMPLAINTS &amp; CLAIMS Please inform your tour guide if you have a complaint about your trip so that they have the opportunity to rectify the matter. If the matter is not resolved, please contact us in writing after your tour.

PHOTOS &amp; MARKETING By booking our tours you consent to us using images of you that are taken on tour for any advertising or promotional purposes. You grant us permission to use these images royalty free for publicity and promotional purposes worldwide.

TERMS &amp; CONDITIONS Emu Run Experience reserves the right to amend the itinerary of any of the tours and arrange alternative carriers to those advertised if necessary. No refunds will be given in these circumstances or in the event of any delay, curtailment or alteration of a trip resulting from any cause including severe weather conditions or mechanical failure. A minimum number of passengers is required to operate each tour. It may therefore be necessary to cancel a scheduled departure and to offer an alternative or full refund for that tour. We accept no responsibility for loss, stolen or damaged property and recommend that all passengers take out adequate travel insurance. Emu Run will accept no responsibility for any injury, illness or other such accident sustained whilst on tour. Any children travelling will be the responsibility of the parent or guardian. All passengers must wear shoes at all times, and be wearing hats and sunscreen.

Any personal information we collect about you may be used for any purpose associated with the operation of your tour and to send you marketing material in relation to special offers or events. Emu Run Experience may disclose information to our agents, suppliers or service providers to enable us to operate your tour. We will not sell, trade or otherwise transfer information you have supplied to us. We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information.
