Frequently Asked Questions

How long and when will the tour depart?

From April to September, the hotel pickup time is between 8 to 830pm, depending on visibility (e.g. moonrise). The exact time is to be confirmed in the early afternoon.

Our drivers will take you from your hotel to our exclusive viewing area within the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Depending on weather conditions, we’ll stay at the national park for about 90 minutes and the total duration of the tour is up to 2.5 hours.

We have selected an ideal viewing location within the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. With good weather conditions, which happen most of the time, we will have a spectacular view of stars above and Uluru in the backdrop.

We aim to keep our experience intimate and personalised. To achieve that we will have fewer than 12 guests per staff.

Yes. The tour is designed for an adult audience, especially because some children are afraid of being in the dark. However, children age 6 and above are very welcome. We do want to inspire our future astronomers!

We have a 9.25 inch Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, binoculars and laser pointers.

There is no toilet onsite. So we kindly remind our guests to take care of business before departure.

Yes, there will be plenty of opportunities to take photos at our viewing site. We have tripods, iPhone 12 and a Nikon DSLR camera and can assist you in taking cool photos. However, please resist using flash photography, as strong white light would interference with our night vision.

Uluru is blessed with a clear sky most of the year. On the off chance that there is significant cloud cover, we do have the options for rescheduling or refund.

  • Comfortable shoes that enclose your feet.
  • Warm clothes, as the temperatures can drop a lot at night
