What to expect from Sydney in November

the rocks sydney

November in Sydney has spectacular weather for outdoor adventures, with temperatures ranging from 17°c to 24°c and nice, clear skies. It’s a great time to experience the city’s thrilling adrenaline activities, like skydiving, hot air ballooning and other high-energy adrenaline rushes in Sydney and surrounds.

See Sydney’s Skies

There’s truly no better or more exhilarating way than skydiving to take in the stunning aerial views of Sydney. The most popular drop zones are located in areas like Wollongong and the Southern Highlands. Both are just a short drive from the city, so as you freefall from up to 15,000 feet, you'll get breathtaking views of Sydney’s iconic landmarks, including the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, as well as beautiful beaches and lush hinterland.

The clear, sunny days of November give you perfect visibility, so it’s an ideal month for this high-altitude adventure; however, if you’re a little scared, there’s also an amazing indoor skydiving experience where you’ll be lifted up on a column of air. This is much gentler and safe for all ages too. You won’t get the glorious views, but you’ll definitely leave with a smile.

For an even more serene yet still exhilarating experience, hot air ballooning is a fantastic option. An early morning ride in the beautiful Camden Valley – with its misty patchwork landscape – is a spectacularly magical experience as you gently ascend into the sky, watching the sunrise light up the lush terrain. Balloon tours also include a full breakfast and a celebratory glass of champagne upon landing.

An Exciting November in Sydney

Besides skydiving and hot air ballooning, Sydney boasts a range of other adrenaline-pumping activities like Sydney Harbour thrill rides, rally driving experiences, 4WD adventures and more! This month also has more sightseeing with the Sydney Open architecture event and the Sculpture by the Sea displays. There are many more Things to Do in Sydney this month, so whether you want heart-thumping adrenaline or something calmer, we can help you find it.

Travelling during another month? Check out what to expect from Sydney in January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December.
