Monteverde has always been world famous because of its unique ecology, you will notice as soon as you feel the cool breeze and the peace of the Cloud Forest. This reserve consists of 6 ecological zones, 90% of which is virgin forest, no wonder it is a safe haven for more than 2,500 plant species (including the largest orchid species variety in one space), 100 species of mammals, 400 bird species, 120 reptilian and amphibian species, and thousand of insects. After this incredible experience we will take you to the butterfly farm, where experts will explain you the fascinating world of the beautiful native butterflies.

In the afternoon we will visit Don Juan Coffee tour, where you will learn the process of coffee, chocolate and sugarcane. Coffee farming still has a huge impact over Costa Rican culture, that no visit is complete without a coffee tour. Experience and taste the wonders that grow from Don Juan&#39;s farm.
