It is recommended that you bring light clothing, extra clothing, bathing suit, towel, sport sandals.

We will venture down the Chirrip&oacute; River, strategically located along Route 32, which is the main highway to Lim&oacute;n and Sarapiqu&iacute;, just 1-hour drive from San Jos&eacute;. The short travel time allows us to offer this adventure daily, departing from San Jos&eacute; hotels at 8:30 am.

The journey begins right from your hotel in San Jos&eacute;, where we will pick you up and take you for a breathtaking drive along Route 32, crossing through the Braulio Carrillo National Park. The drive from your hotel to the starting point of our rafting tour will be filled with the amazing panoramic views and incredible flora that the Braulio Carrillo National Park offers. The ride to the river will be just another one of the attractions of this incredible adventure and will come complete with interesting information by your guide about the richness of the flora and fauna of the region.

Our certified guide will help you with your professional gear and give a safety briefing and paddling commands. You will enjoy this wide river which has great water year round. The continuous rapids, huge waves, and deep holes make for intense activity throughout the ride, thrilling you every step of the way. Halfway through the tour, we will stop along the shore to enjoy a colorful buffet of fresh tropical fruit. Then, you will be ready to conquer the remaining rapids. After more than 2 hours of continuous class III rapids, we will return to the restaurant for a delicious traditional Costa Rican lunch.

Finally, &nbsp;we will return you to your hotel in the capital city, once again passing through the amazing Braulio Carrillo National Park.

<h2>Reservations, Payments and Cancellations Policies</h2>

Gray Line Shuttle and Airport Shuttle: Cancellations within 24 hours prior to departure will be considered a &quot;no-show;&quot; therefore, no refunds will be made. Transfers are based upon scheduled departures. Private transfers are available upon request. Rates are subject to change without previous notice due to increases from our suppliers and/or changes in government taxes.

One day Tours: Cancellations within 36 hours prior to departure will be considered a &quot;no-show;&quot; therefore, no refunds will be made.

Hotels and packages: &nbsp;All bookings must be paid in full prior to client&#39;s arrival. &nbsp;Any cancellation within 24 hours prior to client&#39;s arrival will be considered a no-show, and are subject to the penalties imposed by hotels and other service suppliers. Cancellations according hotel policies.

<h2>Baggage</h2>

Baggage is carried under passenger&#39;s risk. Liability for loss, delay, or damage to baggage is limited to a maximum of USD $ 100.00, regardless of the value for it&#39;s owner, unless a higher value is declared in advance and additional charges are paid. We assume no liability for fragile, valuable or perishable articles.

<h2>Adventure Activities</h2>

When practicing adventure activities, and/or visiting wilderness areas or other places were the tour enters or takes place, the tour participant attests and verifies to be physically fit and in good health to undertake these activities. The tour participant expressly accepts and assumes the risks and dangers inherent to these areas and activities.

<h2>Accidents</h2>

Liability for death or personal injuries to passengers is limited to contract conditions with suppliers and insurance coverage subscribed by the company, according to the laws of Costa Rica, in effect at the moment of the accident.

Only ages 10 and above may participate in the tour. Minimum of 2 passengers is required for the tour to run; if the minimum size is not reached, the tour is subject to cancellation and all tickets are refunded or rescheduled.
