No previous experience is required to kayak. However, you must be water confident and a moderate fitness level is required. You will be kayaking for at least&nbsp;4 hours.

You will find both Milford and Doubtful Sound deep down in the South Island of New Zealand in the Fiordland National Park.

Milford Sound&nbsp;is around 13kms long and famous for its dramatic mountain peaks waterfalls. Home to Mitre Peak, it&rsquo;s easy to see why people flock here.

Doubtful Sound&nbsp;is three times longer than Milford Sound, home to three arms named Hall, Crooked and First arm. Commonly known as the sound of silence and famous for Wildlife sightings, Doubtful is a real adventure experience.

Doubtful Sound is New Zealand&#39;s second-most-famous tourist destination, located in the south-west of the country. This full-day kayaking tour will give you a taste of why this fiord is so popular amongst visitors and locals alike.&nbsp;

You will get to spend the day paddling past mountains and waterfalls with the assistance of a helpful kayaking guide. Be sure to bring your waterproof camera, as you may also spot wildlife along the way including whales, dolphins, seals or penguins!

Tours depart from Manapouri&nbsp;at 6:55 am. They depart daily between 1 Oct - 30 April.

&nbsp;

If you&#39;re departing from&nbsp;Manapouri, you will meet your kayaking group at&nbsp;Manapouri Visitor Centre. Then, it&#39;s time for a one-hour cruise from&nbsp;Lake Manapouri to West Arm. Head to&nbsp;Manapouri Power Station, where you will board a bus over the Wilmot Pass.&nbsp;After a 45-minute ride, arrive at Doubtful Sound where you will begin your kayaking session.

&nbsp;

Receive an in-depth safety briefing from your guide before getting kitted out in all your necessary kayaking gear including wetsuits and lifejackets. Then, it&#39;s time to hit the water!

&nbsp;

You will spend three&nbsp;hours paddling through the fiord, enjoying panoramic views of the beautiful scenery&nbsp;which includes several small coves and islands.&nbsp;Hand off all your gear and prepare for the bus ride and cruise back to&nbsp;Manapouri Visitor Centre, where your journey will end.

Your acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined are required to process your reservation. The below terms and conditions apply to all bookings regardless for this tour.

	<li>Pre-payment by credit card and subsequent confirmation by&nbsp;the supplier is accepted as confirmation of your booking.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>All transactions are conducted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). Due to exchange rate fluctuations, at times there may be some variance in the amounts refunded compared to the amount initially charged.&nbsp;The supplier (and associated companies) does not accept any liability for these variances or any subsequent credit card/bank charges relating to these transfers to customer&#39;s accounts. Payments using Amex, JCB or Diners incur a non-refundable 3% surcharge.</li>
	<li>The supplier (and associated companies) reserve the right to amend timetables, cancel departures, substitute plant and equipment and alter ticket prices at any time.</li>
	<li>All agreements and contracts shall be subject solely to New Zealand law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts. &nbsp;In the event of a cancellation or amendment to your booking, notification period is in NZ time (NZST).</li>
	<li>We strongly recommend travel insurance for all experiences, especially for those that require longer notification periods for cancellation (see below).</li>
	<li>All travellers accept responsibility for all personal items taken on any experience and are personally liable for these items at all times. The supplier is not responsible for the loss/damage to personal items taken on Go Orange experiences at any time, unless stated by a Go Orange Guide.</li>
	<li>All travellers accept that te supplier is not responsible for any injury incurred during this experience as a result of carrying personal items on their person. All travellers do so at their own risk.</li>
	<li>All instructions given by guides should be followed by all travellers at all times during any experience operated by the supplier. These experiences are for the safety of all travellers and to ensure the best experience is had by all. Parents/guardians are responsible for the safety of the children which they travel with.</li>
</ul>

In the event of an emergency:

In the unlikely event of an emergency during this experience, all guides will respond as necessary to ensure all travellers safety. The guides will contact emergency services as required and work with relevant parties to ensure safety for all involved.

Travellers should be aware that in New Zealand any claims for personal injury are limited by a government scheme and passengers should obtain their own insurance should they wish to do so.

Cancellations:

	<li>In the event of a cancellation or amendment to your booking, refunds will only be granted when the supplier&nbsp;receives notification at least 24 hours prior (NZ time) to departure date.</li>
</ul>

Kayak

<ul>
	<li>Cruise may be substituted for kayaking if weather is not suitable.</li>
	<li>In the event of cancellation due to weather a transfer to an alternate day or full refund will be offered to those booked for the overnight and multi-night experience products.</li>
	<li>Departures are subject to minimum numbers.</li>
	<li>Please ensure you have read and agreed to the Safety and Risk Disclosure information (features under the &#39;more info&#39; tab for each kayaking page).</li>
	<li>Physical conditions: If you are unable to swim, of poor physical health or have any medical conditions, which you may feel impact your ability to paddle, follow instruction or swim, these must be disclosed to staff prior to departure. If you are deemed physically unfit to engage within the experience the cost of the trip will be refunded.</li>
	<li>If you are pregnant you can not participate on this experience and if you do so without notifying the guides of your condition you do so at your own risk.</li>
	<li>Refunds will not be offered to those who wish to transfer the date of their booking within 24 hours of departure.</li>
	<li>To transfer the date of travel of a booking 24 hours&rsquo; notice must be given to the supplier.</li>
	<li>Overnight kayaking trips: it is the responsibility of the traveller to pack adequate gear and food to ensure they are warm, dry and fed.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>Sea kayaking has inherent risks and can be dangerous. The supplier accepts its legal responsibilities but cannot be held responsible for personal injury or for loss, theft or damage of/to your equipment outside legal responsibilities.</li>
	<li>Participants will be required to sign a liability form to this effect before starting a tour.&nbsp;</li>
