Conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from the town of Lake Tekapo, Mt Hay beckons with its towering presence and promises an unforgettable journey. Whether you&#39;re an avid hiker or a nature enthusiast, Mt Hay has it all. This climb will take on average 3 hours to reach the summit.

Your adventure begins with a meet-up at the designated location in the Blue Mountains, where you&#39;ll be greeted by your knowledgeable guide. The Mt Hay Guided Hike covers varied terrain, from lush forest paths to rocky outcrops, offering spectacular views at every turn.

As you ascend, your guide will share insights into the geological formations, plant life, and the cultural significance of the area. You&#39;ll have plenty of opportunities to take photos, rest, and enjoy the tranquil environment. This moderate-difficulty hike is designed to be both challenging and rewarding, ensuring an unforgettable experience in one of Australia&#39;s most iconic landscapes.

	<li>It is very important to arrive on time for check-in (15 minutes before your departure time) If you do not check-in 15 mins before your tour scheduled departure time, you will be deemed a &#39;no-show&#39; and you will not be eligible for a refund. Late arrivals will not be catered for, and you will not be allowed to join a later departure.</li>
	<li>Tour participants must accept that we are unable to guarantee clear, sunny skies on all our tours</li>
	<li>We operate our tours in a high-altitude alpine environment on a high-country farm. As such tour content may vary throughout the year due to seasonal changes, weather conditions, seasonal farming operations and road conditions.</li>
	<li>Sometimes, tours may be subject to fast-changing weather conditions, this could cause the route to be changed, stops to be skipped or the tour to be cut short</li>
	<li>Please understand that our tours are not subject to partial refunds or discounts for any reason, including the weather</li>
	<li>All tours operated are non-drinking and non-smoking. We reserve the right to refuse those who present intoxicated at the time of checking in. If you arrive intoxicated for check-in you will be turned away and will not be eligible for a refund.</li>
	<li>Whilst we endeavour to make warm jackets available for all Hike tour participants, we, however, encourage you to dress to the conditions prior to checking in for your tour.</li>
	<li>We recommend that you wear sturdy enclosed warm footwear, a warm windproof jacket and highly advise in winter conditions a warm hat and gloves</li>
	<li>Failure to comply with the clothing recommendations may result in you being refused access to the tour and/or forfeiting the fares paid</li>
	<li>We exercise a strict non-translating policy. As we operate small group tours, talking over the guide is seen as rude and disruptive to all guests on all tours. Where possible we will endeavour to ensure that you are put with an appropriate guide who speaks your language for greater understanding.</li>
	<li>Cancellation Policy Our Hike Tours are weather-dependent and will run unless it becomes unsafe to do so. In the event of adverse weather conditions (not limited to snow, ice, or extreme weather conditions) tours may be cancelled, for safety reasons. If this is the case, we will issue a full refund or accommodate you on another scheduled tour departure. (Dependant on availability)</li>
