Enjoy and gourmet lunch and discover the three unique wine regions in Wairarapa - Opaki (Masterton), Gladstone and Martinborough.

Itinerary

After your hotel pick-up from Wellington, you will travel through the&nbsp;Hutt Valley&nbsp;to reach the&nbsp;Remutaka mountain range summit, which is 555 meters above sea level. At the top of the summit, you can view the&nbsp;Remutaka Crossing monument, commemorating the 60,000 New Zealand troops that crossed from the military camp in Featherston to the Port of Wellington between 1915 and 1918.

&nbsp;

The first winery of the day takes you to&nbsp;Masterton,&nbsp;about a 60-minute drive from the summit, where you&#39;re sure to be impressed by the varieties and lush grounds.&nbsp;

Next up, delight your tastebuds at Le Gra Vineyard&nbsp;to enjoy tastings and a delicious platter lunch made with local produce. After sampling the region&#39;s premium produce, the tour goes south to the Gladstone area, where you&#39;ll visit&nbsp;Johner Estate Winery, Gladstone Vineyard or Cottier Estate.&nbsp;

&nbsp;

After your visit to the&nbsp;Gladstone region, it&#39;s just a short drive southeast to the Pinot Noir Capital of the North Island &ndash; Martinborough, where you will have&nbsp;tastings at two more premium wineries. As part of the tour, you&#39;ll get an opportunity to have an in-depth chat with the Winemaker/Owner and ask any questions you may have about the region.&nbsp;

After finishing the wine tastings at the final winery, there will be an&nbsp;opportunity to explore Martinborough. The town boasts several unique boutiques selling gifts and clothing. Alternatively, a visit to Martinborough&#39;s only Craft Brewery may tempt you.&nbsp;

You will return to your selected drop-off location in Wellington around 5.00 pm.
