Discover the NT: The real heart of Australia

January 24, 2022

As a self-professed basic b*tch who grew up on the Glitter Strip/Cesspit that is ?The Gold Coast?, my idea of a "destination holiday" has historically consisted of anywhere where there's overpriced cocktails and shirtless English backpackers (so yes, basically The Gold Coast).

Yet times have changed, ya girl has grown up (thank the Lawd) and I have discovered there's literally much more out there...and by there, I mean in the Northern Territory (shirtless English backpackers occasionally included).

From the Top End to the Red Centre, the region is brimming with beauty, so it's no wonder 1.2 MILLION Aussies are predicted to head there by the end of June (including moi ???????) - and with 10% all our Northern Territory tours and activities...there's 1.2 MILLION reasons why you should book a holiday there RIGHT NOW.

They say the best time to head there is between May and July, during the Dry Season - and if 2022 is anything like the past 2 years, peak szn will be here before you know it!

Temps during this time range from 12°C and 27°C, but considering as though the rest of the country is generally shivering through Winter, it's no wonder so many head outback.

Rich in culture, the NT prides itself on its Aboriginal history, with a great number of Uluru Tours and Activities allowing visitors to share in stories of the Dreaming, and explore the magnificent beauty that shrouds itself around this "massive sandstone monolith" (thanks Google for that description).

Honestly though, the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park as a whole is ICONIC, and has been described as a living cultural landscape, where earth and memories exist as one ??

More than just a photo opportunity, this region holds so much ancient wisdom and diverse plant and animal life that even not-so-happy campers like me are now packing their swags to spend a night under the stars here...and that's saying something!

Up towards the Top End, places like Darwin, Katherine, Kakadu and Arnhem Land come together in the ULTIMATE tropical oasis.

What may come as a surprise to some is the bustling, modern cityscape of Darwin, which basically blends cosmopolitan-vibes with outback adventure. Even better, you can make it as action-packed or as laid back as you like, with plenty of things to see and do. Discover more HERE.

Out in World Heritage-listed Kakadu and Arnhem Land country, discover some of Australia's best-kept secrets, with the areas rich is natural and cultural values and beauty, including some of Australia's oldest and best-preserved Aboriginal rock at in all of Australia.

In Arnhem Land, which is wholly Aboriginal-owned land, you'll discover the Top End's most spectacular natural destinations, with beautiful scenery, rugged coastlines, remote islands, tropical rainforests and wetlands, towering escarpments and savannah woodland, with it's prime, untouched fishing habitats teeming with prized sport and reef fish. So BYO rods I guess. There's so much going on in the Top End, so click HERE to see what else we have on offer.

Yeah nice.

This post could go on and on and ON about all the amazing things on offer in the Northern Territory, but enough from me, discover it for yourself with 10% off all NT Tours and Activities booked before January 31 2022 with the code TAKE10NT.

BTW, spots are selling out FAST on some of the regions popular picks...so get booking ASAP to avoid serious FOMO.

C U in the NT!
