Days spent on our hammock listening to rushing water under a beautiful autumn canopy . This lowlands section of Victoria has truly taken us by surprise, from the charming goldrush towns, to the beautiful creeks and riverside camping ⛺. . Hands down this has been the best autumn display we've seen around Australia and we are really starting to appreciate this season! . Do you prefer the beautiful changing leaves of the autumn months or the wildflower spring months? . . . . . . . #oztrailaustralia #melbourne #australia #victoria #vichighcountry #hammocklife #camping #hammocktime #victorianhighcountry #hammocking #travelaustralia #visitvictoria #seevictoria #takemetoaustralia #vanlife #creativetravelcouples #ig_discover_australia #vanlifecouples #seehighcountry #exploringaustralia #wandervictoria #freecamp #iloveaustralia #wanderaustralia #amazingaustralia #coupletravelgoals #roadtrip #couplephotography #autumnmood #autumnleaves

Browsing my images from Uluru yesterday, I was blown away again by how incredibly beautiful it is. And how surprisingly green it was on my last visit. It's truly the most amazing place I've been in Australia. We took a scenic flight at sunrise and it was one of the best things I've ever done. If you've never been, definitely add it to your bucket list! ~ s l o w d o w n ~⁣⁣ We left Cairns oh so eager to get down to the sunny coast, keen to swim and surf our brains out before Bluesfest. We were distracted and pointlessly hurrying down the coast. We drove two full days and felt exhausted, not really soaking up our surrounds. We quickly realized this, turned the engine off and set up shop for a few days - stretched our bodies, did some hand-washing, cooked some good food, listened to the birds... We also decided to jump on a boat for an island escape in the GBR one last time. So we’ve packed the tent + the bare essentials and are hitting up the Keppels tomorrow. There’s nothing better to remind you to slow down than waking up in a tent on the beach. ⛺️

Free things to do in Melbourne

How much do you know about Melbourne? Did you know that it is consistently voted as the worlds most livable city? Or perhaps that it is the only city to have FIVE international standard sporting venues? (Hisense Arena, Docklands Stadium, Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne Cricket Ground, and Olympic Park in Melbourne Park. There's also Albert Park Racecourse, which hosts the […]

Quad Biking Adventures in Stunning Franz Josef

Franz Josef is based along the middle of the west coast on the south island of New Zealand. It is famous for its two magnificent natural creations; the Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers. It is also known for its wet weather, and I had heard on numerous occasions that it receives a large amount of […]

My First Skydive In Australia

There are some moments in life you'll always remember. I think it's fair to say I've had a few of them since I started my backpacking adventure with my cousin, Jack. I've seen the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, the 12 Apostles and experienced some fantastic heart-racing activities such as rap jumping. However, I can safely say […]

The Melbourne Star

The Melbourne Star stands proudly overlooking a newly built area in Docklands, Melbourne, located a stone’s throw away from the Yarra River. It boasts a traditional Ferris Wheel design with an impressive modern look and feel, from both a distant perspective and close by. It is made out of solid steel at 120m high and […]

City Sightseeing Hop on Hop off bus - Melbourne

I guess it’s easy to say that Melbourne has it all. It isn’t the capital of Australia, but it certainly has all the qualities and attributes to qualify as a capital city. It boasts a busy and buzzing Central Business District, full of shops, restaurants, cafes, offices, you name it. The surrounding areas are home […]

Bubble Soccer

Bubble Soccer. Or, Bubble Football seems more accurate, as I am from England! Either way, I guess the name gives a huge clue about what this activity involves. Giant inflatable bubbles, being worn by two teams of people during a very interesting game of soccer/football! I had seen a few hilarious videos on YouTube of […]
