Missed the Exmouth eclipse? There's still plenty to see and do in Exmouth, Western Australia.

The April 20 solar eclipse in Exmouth, Western Australia, has seen thousands flock to the town from around Australia and beyond.

The hybrid solar eclipse, where the moon partially obscures the sun, lasted for about two minutes, with the next hybrid eclipse set to be in 2031.

So, for those of us who missed this phenomenon but are still looking for an excuse to check out the town, we've compiled a list of the top things to do in Exmouth and surrounds!

Visit the Ningaloo Reef: This world-famous reef is home to an incredible array of marine life, including whales, dolphins, turtles and countless species of fish. Snorkeling and diving are popular activities here, and there are plenty of tour operators in Exmouth that offer guided trips to the reef.

Explore Cape Range National Park: This stunning national park is located just a short drive from Exmouth and offers visitors a chance to see some of Western Australia's most rugged and scenic landscapes. Highlights include Yardie Creek, Mandu Mandu Gorge, and the breathtaking Turquoise Bay.

Go whale watching: Between June and November each year, humpback whales can be seen migrating past Exmouth as they make their way up and down the coast.
